C. Daniel Higgins is the founding partner of the firm and concentrates his practice in estate planning, wills and trusts, civil litigation and real estate law.

Mr. Higgins' professional experience includes serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Monroe County, Pennsylvania; a local federal magistrate; and counsel for numerous property owners association. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton and Georgetown University Law School.

Mr. Higgins is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association (President in 1993) and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.

C. Daniel Higgins, Jr. is a partner in the firm and concentrates his practice in matters concerning family law, personal injury law, D.U.I. defense law, criminal law and motor vehicle offenses, workers compensation cases, insurance bad faith cases, and general court litigation.

Mr. Higgins' professional experience includes serving as the Special Solicitor for Monroe County Children & Youth Services since 2007 in the Court of Common Pleas for Monroe County, Pennsylvania. He has also accepted criminal conflict appointments in various criminal cases for the Court of Common Pleas since 1997. Mr. Higgins has also previously served as Solicitor for the Chestnuthill Township Zoning Office in Brodheadsville, PA.

He is a graduate of Villanova University, receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree in 1989, and later receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the District of Columbia. Mr. Higgins is licensed to practice in both the state and federal courts since 1996. He is active in the local community, serving as a Director of the Monroe Animal League, Animal Welfare Society, and being involved in fundraising for various charitable organizations including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and The American Cancer Society.

Stephen M. Higgins, a partner in the firm, concentrates his practice in litigation matters, including personal injury, worker’s compensation and family law, as well as criminal law in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Higgins professional experience includes serving as a custody conciliator and dependency master for the past 10 years in the Court of Common Pleas for Monroe County, PA. He has also served as a special public defender, accepting conflict appointments in criminal cases. Since 1995, he has served as a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Higgins also serves as the solicitor for the Monroe County Controllers Office; the Monroe County Retirement Board; the Pocono Mountain Public Library and Pleasant Valley Manor, Inc., assisted living facility.

A graduate of Seton Hall University, with a J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law, Mr. Higgins is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is very active in the legal community and served as president of the Monroe County Bar Association, www.monroebar.org. He also serves as a delegate to the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is active in the local community, having served as a trustee for the Eastern Monroe Public Library, as well as an advisory board member for the Salvation Army.
